Networking is something that I have to really push myself to do since I’m naturally a more introverted quiet person. It really does pay off though. I’ve only gotten 2 jobs in my life through networking (3 if you count working for my dad), and they’ve been far and away the best 2 jobs I’ve had in terms of the work I do, the people I work with and for, the treatment of clients, the overall atmosphere of the workplace, and my enjoyment of the work.
